Tuina – Chinese Therapeutic Massage

Specialized massage techniques for recovery, relaxation, and energy balance.

Tuina (推拿, tuīná) is one of the oldest branches of Chinese Medicine and is a therapeutic massage technique deeply rooted in the philosophy of Yīn–Yáng and the flow of Qì (energy). At San Cai, Tuina is applied with respect for tradition but also with a modern therapeutic approach, offering a powerful tool for health prevention and restoration.

Tuina is not simply a massage. It is a targeted, energetic treatment that mobilizes the body’s energy channels (meridians), restoring the smooth flow of Qì and blood, removing blockages, reducing pain, and enhancing the body’s natural healing capacity.

At San Cai, Tuina is applied with precision, knowledge, and sensitivity, and is adapted to the needs of each individual. It is suitable for:

  • Musculoskeletal pain (neck pain, lower back pain, tendonitis)
  • Increased stress and insomnia
  • Digestive and gynecological disorders
  • Boosting energy and wellbeing

The treatment lasts 60 minutes and includes pressure, stretching, massage, and manipulation techniques that activate specific points and areas of the body.

Our approach is based on individualized diagnosis and a deep understanding of traditional medicine. Tuina offers not only relief but also prevention, helping the body return to its natural balance.
